Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 13, 2026

This privacy policy explains what information PrintSheetLab (printsheetlab.com, “we”) collects, why, and the choices you have. We keep it short and plain on purpose. If anything is unclear, contact us or email contact@printsheetlab.com.

Privacy policy: the short version

  • You can use every worksheet, printable and maker without an account.
  • The makers (word search, calendar, math and paper makers) build your printable inside your browser. The words, names and settings you type are not sent to us unless you choose to save them to your account.
  • If you create an account or join the newsletter, we store your email address and the things you choose to save.
  • Analytics cookies only load after you agree in the cookie banner.
  • We do not sell your personal information.

Information we collect

When you simply visit

Like every website, our hosting servers receive technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This is used to deliver pages, keep the site secure and fix problems, and it is kept only as long as needed for those purposes.

When you create an account

We store your email address, an optional first name, a securely hashed password (we never see the password itself), and the things you choose to save: favorite worksheets, saved maker settings, a list of worksheets you opened while logged in, your chosen avatar, and a list of the game rooms you hosted or joined (the latest 50, with the room code, game and date). If you sign in with Google, Google shares your name and verified email address with us; we do not receive your Google password.

When you join the newsletter

We store your email address, when you joined and where on the site you signed up. We use double opt-in: you are only added after you confirm by clicking the link we email you. Every email includes a way to unsubscribe.

When you play a game room

Game rooms let a host run bingo or tambola for friends on their own phones. The host and each player type a name (up to 24 characters) and pick an avatar. The room stores those names, the avatars, card numbers and which squares were claimed. You do not need an account and we do not ask for an email address. A room is deleted automatically after about two days of inactivity. To stop abuse, we count how many rooms or joins come from one connection each hour, using your IP address; we do not keep your IP address in the room. Please do not use your full name or other personal details as a nickname.

When you contact us

We keep the name, email address and message you send so we can reply and follow up.

Children

PrintSheetLab is made for parents, teachers and other adults to find printables for children. Accounts and the newsletter are for adults only. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email support@printsheetlab.com and we will delete it.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use a small number of necessary cookies to keep you logged in, remember your cookie choices and protect forms from spam. With your consent, we also use Google Analytics cookies to count visits. You can change your choices at any time with the cookie settings button on every page. See our cookie policy for details.

Using the site with children

PrintSheetLab is a website for adults. Although many of the printables are made for children, the website itself is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children (see Children above). Parents and teachers who use the site with children in the room should keep accounts, the newsletter and the contact form for adults.

How we use information

  • To provide the site, your account and the features you choose to use.
  • To send the newsletter you asked for, and account emails such as password resets.
  • To answer your messages.
  • To keep the site secure and working, and to understand which printables are useful, using Google Analytics.

Sharing

We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only with service providers who help run the site (such as our web host and email delivery), with Google when you use Google sign-in, when visits are measured with Google Analytics, or when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Account information is kept until you delete your account. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe, after which we keep only a record that you unsubscribed so we do not email you again. Contact messages are kept for up to two years. Game rooms are deleted automatically after about two days of inactivity.

Your choices and rights

  • Delete your account: My Sheets, then Account, then Delete my account removes your account and everything saved in it.
  • Unsubscribe: use the link in any newsletter, or untick the newsletter box on My Sheets.
  • Access, correct or delete: depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or US state privacy laws), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or move your personal information, or to object to some uses. Email support@printsheetlab.com and we will respond within the time the law requires.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on these legal bases:

  • Consent for analytics cookies and the newsletter. You can withdraw consent at any time with the cookie settings button or the unsubscribe link.
  • Contract for providing your account and the features you ask for.
  • Legitimate interests for keeping the site secure, preventing abuse and fixing problems.

US state privacy rights

Residents of some US states, such as California, Colorado and Virginia, have rights to know what personal information a business holds, to correct or delete it and to opt out of targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information for money. You can switch off analytics cookies at any time with the cookie settings button on every page. To use any of your rights, email support@printsheetlab.com.

International data transfers

Our service providers, including Google, may process information in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where the law requires it, they rely on recognized safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Our pages link to other websites, such as government and school curriculum documents, encyclopedias and tools. We do not control those sites and this policy does not apply to them, so please read their privacy policies.

Security

The whole site uses an encrypted HTTPS connection, passwords are stored hashed, and forms are protected against spam. No method of storing or sending information is completely secure, but we work to protect yours.

Changes to this privacy policy

If we change this privacy policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be announced on the site.
