The printable planner bundle: one month on ten pages
Pick Planner bundle, choose a month and a color, and the planner generator builds a complete printable planner as one PDF:
- a dated monthly planner with monthly goals;
- a weekly planner to copy for each week;
- a daily planner for your busiest days;
- a to-do list;
- a habit tracker for the same month;
- a meal planner with a grocery list;
- a monthly budget planner;
- a goal planner;
- a birthday and anniversary calendar;
- a cleaning schedule.
Print it once, punch three holes, and the month’s planning lives in one binder. Next month, choose the new month and print the bundle again, so your planner never runs out of pages and you only print what you use.
Which printable planner do you need?
- You forget appointments: start with the monthly planner on the fridge and a daily planner on busy days.
- Your to-do list never ends: use the to-do list. Write only three things under Must do today, and move everything else to the checklists.
- Money disappears by the end of the month: the monthly budget planner lists every bill with a due date and a paid box, then compares what you planned to spend with what you spent.
- You have a big goal but no plan: the goal planner asks why the goal matters, splits it into ten small steps with dates, and gives you a progress bar to color.
- Your family runs on chaos: the family planner gives each person a row, and the meal planner and cleaning schedule share out the jobs.
- You teach: combine the lesson planner, the school year calendar and the homework planner for your class.
How to make a paper planner system that sticks
A printable planner works best as a short routine, not a once-a-year project. This simple three-level system takes about fifteen minutes a week:
- Once a month: fill in the monthly planner with birthdays, bills, school dates and appointments, and write up to five goals in the sidebar.
- Once a week: copy this week’s dates and anything from the month onto the weekly planner, then choose your top priorities for the week.
- Each morning or the night before: pick three must-dos on a daily planner or to-do list, and block time for them on the schedule.
Keep the pages together in a binder or clipboard where you will see them. The best printable planner is the one you look at every day, so start small: one weekly page is better than a thick planner you never open. Paper organizers have been around much longer than apps; the personal organizer article on Wikipedia traces their history.
Budget and goal planning tips
For the monthly budget planner, fill in income and bills first, then give every spending category a limit before the month starts. Write what you actually spent at the end of each week, not just at the end of the month, so you can adjust in time. Use the Next month I will box to note one change. For a fuller money plan, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s free Your Money, Your Goals toolkit has worksheets for budgeting, saving and paying down debt.
For the goal planner, keep each step small enough to finish in a day or two, and give every step a date. When a step slips, move the date instead of crossing out the whole plan. Color one progress bar for every 10% and write each small win on the lines below; seeing the bars fill up is half the motivation.
Make it yours
- Seven color themes, from navy and forest to rose, plus black and white to save ink.
- Six heading fonts, including a handwritten style.
- Your own title on almost every page, such as “Maya’s Homework” or “Summer Goals”.
- Your own lists: subjects, habits, lessons, cleaning jobs and budget categories.
- Dated or undated: add a start date for dated weekly and daily planners, up to 12 pages in a row, or leave the dates blank to fill in by hand.
- Monday or Sunday start, and a choice of 12-hour or 24-hour time on the daily planner.
Family names you type stay in your browser. They are never saved on our server or added to the page link.
Printing and binding tips
- Print at 100% (Actual size) so the writing lines keep their spacing.
- Slightly heavier paper, around 24 lb or 90 gsm, stops ink from showing through if you print on both sides.
- A standard three-hole punch fits US Letter binders; use a two- or four-hole punch for A4 ring binders.
- Laminate the cleaning schedule or habit tracker and use a dry-erase marker to reuse it every week.
