2 two Curve over the top, slide down to the left, and finish with a line across.
3 three Curve in, then curve in again, like two bumps.
4 four Down and across, then a line down through it.
5 five Line down, a bump around, and a hat line on top.
6 six Curve down and loop around at the bottom.
7 seven A line across the top, then slant down.

How to use these preschool number worksheets

Introduce one or two numbers at a time. Let your child count real objects, trace the numeral with a finger, and then do the preschool number worksheet. Keep the sessions to five to ten minutes. Use the color by number pages as a reward when the numerals are familiar.

Revisit numbers often with songs, stairs and snacks. The preschool number worksheets on this page give the paper practice, and everyday counting gives the meaning. Praise the counting more than the writing, because understanding quantity matters most at this age.
