My Five Senses
Parts of the Body
Human Body Pack
Human body worksheets for two age groups. Little ones name the parts of the body and match the five senses; older children look inside the body at six organs, label them and match each one to its job. The child figure and every organ are drawn for this set, and each page with right answers has an answer key. The human body worksheets go from naming body parts to labelling the main organs.
Quick answer: The six organs on these worksheets are the brain (controls the body), lungs (take in oxygen), heart (pumps blood), liver (cleans the blood and makes bile), stomach (breaks down food) and intestines (take nutrients and water from food). This page has 6 free human body worksheets (PDF) with answer keys, from preschool to grade 4.

The six organs and their jobs
These are the same short descriptions printed on the diagram, kept simple for grades 2 to 4:
| Organ | Where it is | Its job |
|---|---|---|
| Brain | Inside the skull | Controls your body and lets you think, feel and remember. |
| Lungs | In the chest, on both sides of the heart | Take in oxygen when you breathe in and let out carbon dioxide. |
| Liver | Upper right of the belly, under the lungs | Cleans your blood and makes bile to help digest fat. |
| Heart | In the chest, between the lungs, a little to the left | Pumps blood all around your body. |
| Stomach | Upper left of the belly | Mixes food with juices to break it down. |
| Intestines | Lower belly, folded up | Take nutrients and water from food into your body. |
The diagram shows the body from the front, so the heart and stomach appear on the right of the page even though they are on the child’s left side. It is worth pointing that out before children label the organs.
The five senses
| Sense | Body part | Example |
|---|---|---|
| See | Eyes | reading this sentence |
| Hear | Ears | a friend calling your name |
| Smell | Nose | cookies baking |
| Taste | Tongue | sour lemon or sweet honey |
| Touch | Skin and hands | a soft blanket or a hot cup |
The matching page here is one five senses worksheet. For the full set, with a chart, a cut-and-glue sort, an “I can” drawing page and a five senses walk, see the five senses worksheets.
Parts of the body worksheet
The parts of the body worksheet shows a smiling child with ten pointers: hair, eye, ear, nose, mouth, arm, hand, tummy, leg and foot. Children copy each word from the word bank onto its line, and the answer key is on the second page. For preschool, point and say each word together before writing.
Which human body worksheets suit which age?
| Age | Start with | Then |
|---|---|---|
| Preschool | Parts of the body (point and say the words) | My five senses |
| Kindergarten and grade 1 | Parts of the body with the word bank | My five senses matching |
| Grades 2 to 4 | Inside the human body diagram | Label the organs, then organ jobs |
Science standards
| Grade | Standard | How the worksheets help |
|---|---|---|
| Grade 4 | 4-LS1-1 | Animals have internal structures (heart, stomach, lungs, brain) that support survival and growth |
| Grade 4 | 4-LS1-2 | Animals receive information through their senses and process it in the brain |
Standards are from the Next Generation Science Standards.
Pair the human body worksheets with a simple body outline drawn on big paper, so children can point to each part as they learn it.
Frequently asked questions
6 quick answers
What are the main organs of the human body for kids?
A good first set is the brain, heart, lungs, stomach, liver and intestines. These worksheets cover all six with a one-line job for each.
What does the liver do?
It cleans the blood and makes bile, a liquid that helps the body digest fat. It also stores some nutrients.
What are the five senses?
Sight (eyes), hearing (ears), smell (nose), taste (tongue) and touch (skin, including the hands).
Which human body worksheet is best for preschool?
Parts of the body, followed by the five senses matching page. Both use large pictures and short words.
Are these human body worksheets free?
Yes. Open any sheet in the Ready-to-print list, choose US Letter or A4, and print or save the PDF. No sign-up is needed.
Which age is the label the organs worksheet for?
It is for grades 2 to 4, after the inside the human body diagram and before the organ jobs page. Point out first that the diagram shows the body from the front, so the heart and stomach appear on the right of the page.
